Avatar Gone!

A few days ago Pokerstars did an update. Well actually I tried to login and it said that my client was so old it didn't support it anymore. Apparently I had managed to open it without loading up the updater...

Anyways after updating I noticed that my avatar was gone. Seemed strange...

So I thought, oh that's weird, I'll resubmit it. I found the picture and did that.

After waiting a day it had said that it was submitted, but my avatar was still blank. Very strange... so I emailed Stars.

I had also noticed that some other people had the same problem reported on 2p2.

This isn't the first time that Stars has had software problems, and it seems to have gotten worse since the takeover from Amaya. They might have lost some of the original team.

Anyways going pictureless isn't the worst thing ever. Its just #FirstWorldPokerPlayerProblems lol
I hope you guys are all doing ok at the tables and not getting too many bugs...

Right now I'm watching the Ubisoft presentation at E3 where they have 6 Virtual Reality players playing some weird flying football game. I'm sure its more fun then it seems, but one thing is for sure... No one looks cool playing it

I Finally Binked a 100x Spin!

No Deja Vu Please!

Its Monday, so that means its blogtime! I wasn't really sure what I was gonna blog about to be honest, then in my session this little dude popped up;

Whoever chooses these colour schemes, stuck in the 70s or something?

I've played about 20k of these games and a top 3 occurs on average every 10k games, so I was very surprised that it turned up.

Anyways, it seemed to be pretty good timing as today for some reason I really felt like I was in the zone. I pretty much wanted to maintain my concentration to crush today.

However, its only natural when bad thoughts come into my mind. The two previous 200x's I had lost AA to Q9 heads up, and A9 to A6 heads up for the win respectively and I was really hoping that this wasn't gonna happen again.

Pleaseeeee anything but a bad beat!

The previous times I was quite nervous early on, I could feel my heart pumping at bb20 (the first blind level) which was a bit strange because there would be a little bit to go. But this time, I was pretty calm until I got the chip lead 3 handed and went heads up as favourite.

Heads up lasted as massive one hand, and it held! Seventeen hands, seventeen minutes of a game for $1500 and I won! I hoped that all my studying and experiences had paid off and it did. I felt calm and focused to prepare for the slugfest but it ended up being as a standard game as can be...

Thank goodness, what a weight is lifted off my shoulders!

(The most uninteresting hand ever for the win, but that's how us Regs want it!)

Bitter Sweet Victory

As is of these top multipliers it has to come early on, meaning I had to continue playing towards reaching my self set volume goals for the month. It is especially hard to concentrate after playing (win or lose) a big one and I'm sure the less disciplined me would have just "taken the win" right there.

Only Spins and MTTs make graphs this stupid looking :D
Dispite winning the big one, my session ran pretty bad ending with -10k chips in ev, hadn't had a bad one like this since April. But such are Spins, that's just the way it is sometimes, I'm quite proud of the fact that I carried on playing and kept the concentration up. Either way, a $500 hourly isn't too bad... not sure if i'll be able to keep it up though!

Anyways, hope all ya fellow regs and recreationals are enjoying the summer and doing well at the tables. Keep at it and talk to u next week!
